Judy Kay Rogers, age 71, of Raleigh, North Carolina, departed this life peacefully on April 13, 2026, at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, NC.
Judy was born on April 15, 1954, in Franklin County, North Carolina, to the late Sam Rogers and Annie Ruth Rogers. She was educated in the North Carolina public school system and attended James E. Shepherd High School in Zebulon, NC.
Judy was a hardworking and dedicated woman who spent part of her career working at IBM in New York. Later, she returned to North Carolina, where she worked faithfully as a housekeeper with BAK Cleaning Services in Raleigh, NC. She was known for her strength, determination, and the love she showed to her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Rogers, and her brother, Bobby Rogers.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving children: two sons, Romone Rogers (Marchelle) of Charlotte, NC, and Jermaine Rogers of Wake Forest, NC; and two daughters, Tiffany Rogers and Sabrina Rogers, both of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by her siblings: three sisters, Betty Rogers (Raymond) of Wake Forest, NC, Cheryl Cooke (Michael) of Pilot, NC, and Sheila Ferrell (Brian) of Wake Forest, NC; and three brothers, Luther Rogers Jr. (Sharon),Bunn, NC, Ronnie Rogers of Raleigh, NC, and Ricky Rogers (Dorothy) of Zebulon, NC. Judy’s love extended to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense pride and joy.
Judy will be remembered for her caring heart, her devotion to family, and the warmth she brought into the lives of all who knew her. Her legacy of love, resilience, and faith will continue to live on in the hearts of her family forever.
